World Cup Fever 2010

Was supposed to enter this entry last week but last week was a really bad week for Missy Bear, with a series of lousy events happening at the same time... :(

World cup kicks in on 11th June, if I remembered correctly and it reminds me of this bearbrick I owned...Pic says a thousand words..

Loves the design of the bearbrick for it truly reflects the 'flavour' of soccer (though I'm not a soccer fan)...

The bearbrick was marked with cheerings, soccer balls, soccer field on the body of the bearbrick and even better, soccer boots for the bearbrick itself!!! Ain't it cool? :)

'亂' + 'Matsu' = Cool!

Missy Bear loves great music and she is one who would 'silly-ing' purchase an album just for a song she likes. Gotta this chinese pop album '亂' released by Jaycee..

What prompted me to buy this album is really the song '忠'....I was so drawn to the arrangements when I first heard of this song...unconventional mandarin pop arrangements+ nice drumming = cool! It somewhat falls into those genre I pretty much like (e.g. 'One step closer' by Linkin Park)...Not forgetting, I thought those lyrics were quite well-written too!

Having said that, one thing I personally felt lacking from the song '忠' is the lack of '殺氣' in the vocals. With the strong arrangements + drumming backing, I was really looking forward to some strong vocals to hit in...The vocals however fall short of what I was expecting and I thought it didn't really manage to bring out the entire 'soul' of the song.. :(

Anyway, Missy Bear had yet to review the rest of the album and it would be unfair to make recommendations based on one song. Alright, keys down and time for review! :p

I'm lovin it~

Whee~ My complete set of Kaws dissected bearbricks! No no, I'm not a 'completionist' or whatever you call. Getting the complete set is really cuz all 3 of them are simply unique and beautiful in their own way...

* By the way, I'm loving my new camera too...!!! It's finally doing some 'justices' to my bearbricks!!! :)

Postages from overseas~

Alright..since my brain is still pretty active from work (I call this the after-work effect), have decided to do a quick blog before I end my day and sleep..

Received 2 overseas packages today (hmm..I meant yesterday) and I always like the 'thrill' of opening the packages (though I would have guessed what the contents are...)

dadahhhh....2 more bearbricks to join Missy Bear's big family...Here u go...
